Residential Power Rate Information


This rate shall apply only to electric service to a single-family dwelling (including its appurtenances if served through the same meter), where the major use of electricity is for domestic purposes such as lighting, household appliances, and the personal comfort and convenience of those residing therein.  For more information on this rate, the full 2018 rate schedule can be downloaded here which is still valid as there were no increases by MUS since.  Click Forecast to view the estimated 2020 forecast as well as the previous 12 months of residential rate.

The base energy rate changes with each season as defined below:

  • Summer: June, July, August, September
  • Transition: April, May, October, November
  • Winter: December, January, February, March
