Longevity in the General Manager position has been important in the growth and success of MU. In 121 years, there have only been seven (7) General Managers. Our four departments are separately funded and audited. When the Commission took over the Wastewater System from the City, the Water Manager was given the role as Manager for the Wastewater Department.
In 2007, the position of Assistant General Manager was created. Customer Service, Human Resources, Billing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Operations Services report to the Assistant General Manager.
